The Sr. Projects Engineer – Process is responsible for ensuring that all projects are technically fit for purpose from a process engineering perspective and meet the statutory requirements.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide the required support to ensure that projects will deliver the required.

Identify the process engineering deliverables based on the scope agreed by the Technical Director.

Plan process engineering resource requirements and milestones and monitor progress.

Provide support to the cost controller & allow the generation of estimates at project commencement and for any potential change of scope.

Ensure that all identified contractors are suitably pre-qualified/ assured for the delivery of the project.

Provide Economic and feasibility studies for the projects.

Review studies that will be prepared by third parties.

Prepare P&ID and PFD as required for the projects & 3D models if required.

Check mass and energy balances for the projects.

Ensure all Products specification for the projects meet local and international requirements.

Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned.

Follow up on all matters relating to work to achieve the best performance possible.

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field (advanced certificate is a plus)

Solid background as Process Engineer preferably in Oil & Gas, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical field.
