Senior Projects Engineer – Electrical

JOB SUMMARY

 

The Senior Electrical Engineer holds responsibility for overseeing the implementation of Electrical and Instrumentation & Control (I&C) aspects of JOTC projects across various sites. Additionally, they contribute to significant projects within the Electrical and Instrumentation discipline, while also managing projects in alignment with their assigned role.

JOB DESCRIPTION / Main Tasks & Duties

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Senior Electrical project Engineer is responsible for the following tasks:

  • Lead electrical design process, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integration.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight.
  • Manage contractors and procurement as part of Project team.
  • Conduct site visits for monitoring and quality assurance.
  • Maintain project documentation and compliance.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities for permits.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster teamwork.
  • Serve as primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide management with periodic reports, feedback & suggestions on the electrical and instrumentation and control systems implementation of projects.
  • Project Evaluation & Analysis through available Tools.
  • Design required drawings by using AUTOCAD & other available engineering Programs.
  • Any other reasonable duties as may be assigned.
  • Follow up on all matters relating to work to achieve the best performance possible.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechatronics engineering or related field (advanced certificate is a plus)
  • Solid background as Technical Project Supervision – Electrical engineering in Manufacturing, Energy Oil & Gas, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in technical field.
