A delegation from Al-Hussein Technical University “HTU”, led by His Excellency Dr. Latif Al-Sharif, Vice President of the University, along with several faculty members, responded to an invitation from His Excellency Engineer Hassan Alheyari, the General Manager, to visit JOTC's offices on Sunday, January 21, 2024.

Engineer Hassan Alheyari greeted the visiting delegation, conveying his appreciation to HTU for their ongoing support of the dual studies program at the university. He also expressed his interest in exploring the possibility of formalizing future collaboration in this area by signing a memorandum of understanding.

Dr. Latif Al-Sharif from HTU expressed his pleasure with the visit, emphasizing his pride in the success of the dual studies program at HTU. He added that dual studies rely on an approach that links theoretical knowledge with practical experience, where students will work alongside their theoretical studies at JOTC for a specified period agreed upon according to need.

The visit concluded with an agreement to later sign a memorandum of understanding between JOTC and HTU to facilitate collaborative work. This includes the assignment of a team consisting of the best students from the university with various specialties to work in JOTC's headquarters offices and oil storage terminals in Aqaba and Madouneh. Their task is to assess the current situation and work towards finding solutions to problems and improving operations.

Additionally, an agreement was reached for joint work between JOTC’s staff and specialized staff from HTU in information systems regarding cybersecurity and its requirements, and how to implement it successfully at minimal costs.
