JOTC and TotalEnergies Jordan renew storage and handling agreement

Jordan Oil Terminals Company (JOTC) and TotalEnergies have extended the storage agreement for the year 2024. This agreement includes the provision of safe and secure storage and handling services for the ready-to-import petroleum derivatives of Total to the Kingdom. The agreement was signed at JOTC headquarters, with Eng. Hasan Al-Heyari, the General Manager of JOTC, signed on behalf of JOTC and Mr. François de Charnacé, the Managing Director of TotalEnergies, signed on behalf of TotalEnergies.

Eng. Hasan Alheyari stated that this agreement represents a positive step towards achieving the company's future vision. In partnership with Total, the two companies are collaborating to develop and deliver sustainable and effective solutions, ensuring that Jordanian consumers receive premium-quality petroleum products in accordance with the highest global standards.

François de Charnacé mentioned that TotalEnergies Global established TotalEnergies Jordan in 2007 and opened its first service station in March 2009. Since then, TotalEnergies Jordan has developed a network of over 170 service stations across the Kingdom, solidifying its position as a leading Oil Marketing Company.

TotalEnergies Jordan relies on a strong and stable foundation in the Kingdom, introducing new principles that have positively impacted the Jordanian oil and gas sector, particularly in terms of the quality of products and services provided. This involves the importation of petroleum products with the highest specifications, ensuring their quality through examination of vessel samples before receiving and storing them in JOTC terminals, and obtaining the necessary approvals.

Persisting in its investment within the oil and gas sector, TotalEnergies Jordan pursues a collaborative approach with JOTC personnel, emphasizing a team spirit strategy that fosters a dynamic and cohesive work environment.
